Made our first 2015 Spring summer reservation at Parkside cafe last weekend, after hearing so much chatter about an all new menu with a fantastic new chef that the whole town is talking about. I have one thing to say, "there not lying". Lol I was greeted by the owner Joe as always with a warm hand shake For my husband and a kiss on the cheek for me , Joe escorted us to our water side table for two and before we even sat down the friendly bus boy was at our table with warm fresh bread and ice water, Joe told us about the dinner specials and our waitress was right behind Joe asking for a cocktail order. The last few years the service has improved more and more. The menu is new and exciting with a new added raw bar including oysters, we had an awesome flatbread for an appetizer and the best clams oreganata I have ever eaten before For my main course I ordered the halibut which was absolutely delicious and moist, my husband ordered the pork shank which I had to try and it fell off the bone, I must say it was the best pork I ever tasted in a restaurant. All in all this restaurant has made it to my top 3, keep up the good work Parkside, see you allot this summer

I frequent yelp for my restaurant choices! After reading the review on May 5th, I was a little reluctant to go. However I really wanted to try the Parkside cafe since I heard so many good things about it and I'm so glad I did. Five star service from all involved. Each and every person on the staff we encountered from the moment we walked through the door to the moment we left, treated us like we were longtime friends. The service struck the perfect balance between attentive and respectful of our space. Park Side is one of the most consistently delicious restaurants on the South Shore. Went here for dinner last night. I enjoyed the wholewheat linguini which was a in a creamy poblano sauce. Wife enjoyed the seafood paella in a saffron risotto. We had a very smooth California Chardonnay alongside dinner. My friend had the fettuccine with lobster and shrimp, which was perfect al dente pasta with a creamy ricotta sauce. Everyone was universally satisfied with their meal and if we had more room, we would have loved to try some dessert. The service was excellent and the atmosphere is fun. I really can't say enough good things about this place. I will definitely be back soon.

It was my pleasure to dine at Parkside Cafe. It is a cute little restaurant on the water with a lovely vibe. Outdoor dining is very pleasurable and they have indoor seating as well. The owner greeted us warmly. We started with the kung pao calamari which was to die for. We will definitely be going back for some more of that. We order a flat bread pizza which was very tasty. Also tried a tomato stuffed w a mixture of goat cheese and cream cheese and this was very yummy. For our main course we tried the scallops which were cooked to perfection in a cognac sauce...it was mouthwatering. We were so full that we could not order dessert and promised the owner that we would come back again. The service was great the owners very friendly and a lot of fun. I would def. Say that this place is a keeper.

“Hidden restaurant for a nice dinner” at outside at this restaurant I have always heard a lot about. The water is seaford is quite stagnant so their we're quite a few bugs. The service was friendly and at tentative. Had swordfish and steamers which were fresh and decent portions. Desert was very good. My wife and I enjoyed this dinner and will be back. 4of 5 stars Value 4 of 5 stars Atmosphere 4 of 5 stars Service 4 of 5 stars Food

“Neighborhood Secret” Had dinner with my wife there 2 weekends ago. It was our third visit, but the first on the outdoor deck. It's a small building and the deck just about doubles the seating. It's on a canal in a quiet residential area. Bugs not a problem, perhaps because of the breeze, but yellow jacket traps were evident along the perimeter. Food was very good. Plating was attractive. My scallops and lobster risotto were delicious. My wife had the halibut. Her only complaint was that the sweet potato side was not hot. Service was friendly and attentive. I always like a place where the wait staff does not refer to us as "you guys". The only real negative was that for a neighbor hood place, it was a little bit pricy, but that won't stop us from returning. All in all a nice place for a quiet dinner. Visited September 2012
